well, Esparanza was used to getting everything done for her. She was used to the maids doing all the work. So, when it came time for her to do the work she wasn't to pleased. But, no i do not think she over-reacted.
Hmmm, interesting. No I think I would be just as devasted as Esparanza was with all her losses. It is hard to change, and Esparanza has to face so much change.
I'm not exactly sure if she was overreacting... However, I do feel as if she was reacting the way any child would. Like Gaby said, Esperanza was used to every thing being handed to her on a platter, and suddenly she had to things for herself. I feel that she just transitioned slowly.
